Jonathan G Galvez is having the world premiere of their new play, ENOUGH: The Agreement, a play about isolation, Emily Dickinson, and the world’s oldest joke, in the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City opening on August 23rd and running until Sept 6th. Ash’s music will be performed in the world premiere production of The Dark Stuff (a play by Mikki Gillette with music by Ash) at Twilight Theater Company, opening August 21st in Portland, OR. Synopsis: When the suave professor Bodkin adopts trans student Izzy as a protege, the aspiring poet is swept into his erudite world. Angel Katthi is directing a staged reading at The Actors Theater Workshop on 8/5 at 4 PM. CODE OF CONDUCT is a new play that draws inspiration from Mamet’s Oleanna, updated for 2026. Feminist Economics professor Dr. Emily Lawson invites Aidan to office hours regarding the radical conservative ideas he included in a class assignment. When she attempts to fail him, he ignites a national media firestorm that threatens to strip Emily of the future she fought to build. Beneath it, a student is dead and both of them know why. This is not simply a story about liberal or conservative doctrine – it is an investigation of institutions that weaponize rhetoric, inducting both students and faculty alike into ideological warfare. Henrietta Steventon’s newest play ‘£Poundtown’ was selected for the Emerging Artists Spark Theatre Festival NYC. £Poundtown: A single British woman working at an animal shelter in the East Village is tasked with screening three potential dog dads, all vying to adopt the same puppy. £Poundtown is a comedy about animal instincts, heavy petting and finding a place that feels like home. The workshop presentation will be on October 24th at 7pm at the 28th Street Theatre. Ticket link to come!
