Sam Affoumado is directing an Equity Showcase Production of his new short play, THE FINALIST, for the Emerging Artists – New Work Series on Sunday, March 27th @2pm. One performance only at the TADA Theater. In the play, two college interns, inundated with script submissions, are saddled with the monumental task of reading and selecting the final script to be added to a group of finalists for the Mala Testa Theatre Company’s emerging playwright contest. Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin‘s HARPERS FERRY 2019 at Know Theatre in Cincinnati will be performing live in-person and streaming online Friday March 4 – March 20. In sleepy West Virginia, a love triangle of National Park rangers train to present living history docent material about John Brown’s ill-fated raid on Harpers Ferry one hundred sixty years after the event while a reality tv documentary crew looks on.
