ANGEL KATTHI is directing a staged reading of a new musical in development, called Man of My Dreams – In contemporary China, a happily married woman hires another woman to cosplay a fantasy boyfriend from a video game with whom she goes on real-life dates. The practice launches her headlong into a journey of self-discovery, whereby she questions her sexuality, her marriage, and her desires. The reading is at the Bruno Walter Auditorium on March 28th. KATHRYN RYAN’s SEVEN-POINT-FIVE, ON AVERAGE, will be presented by Soapbox Stageworks in their Winter One Acts: Romance With A Twist program, happening on March 5th-7th in Monterey, California.
