Freddie Fartfinger Saves the Day

Drew A child, 6-8 years old, any gender, any ethnicity.
Grandma A woman. Drew’s Grandmother. Any ethnicity.
Time and Place
The present. In a child’s bedroom.
GRANDMA
Alright Drew, your teeth have been brushed, pajamas on. Did you have some water?
DREW
Yes.
GRANDMA
Then it’s bedtime for Bonzo!
DREW
Can I hear a story first? I’m not that tired yet.
GRANDMA
Oh yes of course. What’ll it be? How about, The bunny who lost her whiskers?
DREW
No, that one is boring!
GRANDMA
What about the leprechaun one?
DREW
Larry the Leprechaun rides the bobsled.
GRANDMA
Yes, how about that one.
DREW
Nah. I want Freddie.
GRANDMA
Which one is Freddie?
DREW
Freddie Fartfinger Saves the Day!
GRANDMA
That doesn’t sound like an age appropriate book now Drew.
DREW
But it’s my favorite!
GRANDMA
Pick something else.
DREW
But I want Freddie! I want Freddie Fartfinger!
GRANDMA
It’s gross.
DREW
It’s not gross, he’s a superhero.
GRANDMA
Who can…
DREW
Yes, he fights crime by sending gas out of his finger. It’s called “The Gust.” I hope they turn him into a movie.
GRANDMA
Oh lord help me, I don’t think I have the nerve for something like that.
DREW
It’s not like a bad fart or anything, it’s a fart for good! He’s a hero Grandma! He’s my hero.
GRANDMA
Why do you like this Freddie?
DREW
Well he’s funny, but also very brave. And he has these important rules that he follows. And he never breaks them.
GRANDMA
What are these rules of his?
